What we do on the water
- Pontoon rails and hull sides — solid color or printed graphics, full or partial coverage
- Hull color change and multi-color hull graphics, scoped around rub rails, cleats, and hardware
- Accent panels and stripes, measured from the vessel and cut to fit around trim
- Boat names, transom graphics, and hull-stripe lettering — script, outline, or full-color print
- Georgia registration numbers cut to DNR spec
- Motor cowl and trailer graphics
- Removal and replacement of old, peeling, or sun-baked graphics — inspection first
Marine work uses the same premium cast vinyl films as our vehicle wraps, with printed graphics laminated for UV and abrasion. Every job is quoted from the actual vessel rather than a length chart. Looking for a full hull color change? See the marine section on our color change page.

Length is only the beginning. Hull shape, rails, cleats, rub rails, hardware, trailer position, access, oxidation, existing graphics, removal, contours, disassembly, and the installation environment all affect labor and production — which is why marine work is quoted per project instead of from a chart.
Approved projects are secured with a 50% deposit before scheduling or production begins; names and registration numbers are typically paid in full at booking. Every job gets a written scope before it goes on the calendar. General starting prices for the rest of the shop are on the pricing guide.
Georgia registration numbers — what the DNR requires
Per the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, the registration number must be:
- Painted, decaled, or otherwise affixed to both sides of the bow
- Read from left to right on both sides
- At least three-inch-high block letters
- In a color that contrasts with the hull
- Letters separated from the numbers by a space or hyphen — GA 3717 ZW or GA-3717-ZW
- Current validation decal on each side, ahead of the prefix letters, with no other numbers on the bow
Send a photo of your registration card so the number is cut exactly as issued. We cut a block face at three inches or larger in a color that reads against your hull, and leave the decal position clear ahead of the prefix. Numbers can be installed at the shop or in the water at your slip.
Shop or slip
Home water is Lanier, but the work travels. Trailered boats come to our Buford shop by appointment. In-water and on-lift vessels are installed on-site at marinas, dry stacks, and storage facilities across the Southeast, with partner installers coordinated for projects beyond the region.
- Marina name and location, and whether the vessel is in-water, on a lift, or trailered — this sets the travel scope
- Where the vessel can be accessed, and what power and cover access look like at the slip
- Whether hardware or a motor is part of the requested coverage
- Vinyl needs a clean, dry hull and workable temperatures, so on-water dates are scheduled around conditions

What a useful quote needs
The more of this you send, the faster the written quote arrives and the fewer surprises it contains.
- Make, model, and length of the vessel
- Marina name and location, and whether it is in-water, on a lift, or trailered
- Side, bow, stern, and detail photos, including any existing graphics or damage
- Coverage expectations — rails only, hull sides, accents, full color change, or name and numbers
- For registration numbers, a photo of the registration card
- Any hard dates — launch, a show, or a sale
